What we consider

A plan is more than a monthly number.

The right fit depends on how you use care, which doctors you want to keep, the prescriptions you rely on, and the financial risk you’re comfortable carrying.

Individual coverage

Options for people buying coverage outside an employer, including Marketplace and other eligible plans.

02

A practical look at the needs, providers, prescriptions, and budget considerations across your household.

03

Look beyond the headline

Four questions worth asking.

Premiums matter, but they don’t tell you what a year of care may actually cost.

  1. 01

Are my preferred providers in network?

Network participation can materially affect both access and cost.

  2. 02

How do my prescriptions get covered?

Check the formulary, tiers, and any prior authorization requirements.

  3. 03

    What happens before the deductible?

Some services may use copays; others may require you to meet the deductible first.

  4. 04

What is my realistic total cost?

Consider premiums alongside deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and the out-of-pocket maximum.

Health insurance FAQ

Questions worth answering before you choose.

Clear expectations are part of a good insurance conversation.

01Can Fixture tell me whether my doctor is in network?

Fixture can help you identify what to verify, but provider participation can change. Confirm the exact plan and network with both the carrier and provider before enrolling or receiving non-emergency care.

02Should I compare plans using only the premium?

No. The deductible, out-of-pocket maximum, provider network, prescription coverage, copays, coinsurance, referrals, and authorization rules can all affect how coverage works when you use it.

03Can I submit medical details through the website?

Please do not submit diagnoses, medical records, medication lists, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information through the contact form or chatbot. Fixture will explain an appropriate private next step if that information becomes relevant.

04Does submitting the form enroll me in coverage?

No. The form only starts a conversation. It does not create an application, confirm eligibility, quote a premium, or enroll anyone in a plan.
